Fashioning a Creative Career
I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of things—drawing, painting, and designing take up almost all of my free time. When it came to choosing a career, I began looking towards a creative outlet in fashion design, pursuing my degree in Boston. The creative environment was perfect for me, but something was just a little off.
The longer I spent learning about fashion design, the more I realized that the business aspect was more intriguing. I left Boston and returned to Connecticut, earning my degree in Marketing from the University of New Haven. I immersed myself in traditional and digital marketing, sales, and management in a variety of internships, and participated in the Google Online Marketing Challenge—which cemented my interest in developing innovative and advanced methods to connect with audiences.
At Reach Beyond Marketing, I am able to enjoy both the creative aspect of working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while calling on my business prowess to coordinate, communicate, and process sales correspondence internally and externally. As a Marketing Coordinator and Account Manager, I assist and support the sales team with contracts and reports while marketing our unique selling position to potential clients via our newsletter and press releases.
When I am not busy spreading the word about Reach Beyond Marketing, I love spending time with my family, watching horror movies, and trying as many different types of food and wine that I can find.
