Hi, I’m Kristen and welcome to this week’s Reach Beyond Quick Tip!
Today, I want to reveal one of the best ways you can show off your expertise to potential customers. So how do you do it? With a Blog.
By creating a blog you are actively demonstrating that you are an expert in your field. This is a sure way to gain customer confidence in your business!
What should you write about? Here are some ideas:
Write about services or products that you offer and why consumers will want to buy them from you.
Discuss recent industry trends and share how this trend may affect consumers
Give advice for common concerns your consumers have and suggest services or products that can help.
When writing your blog, keep in mind phrases that will rank your blog at the top of a Google search like “yoga in Brooklyn” or “hair salon in Manhattan.” Using phrases that include your service or product with your location increases search results for your website.
Another essential blogging tip? Connect your blog to your website. Add links in your blog that take readers back to your site, whether it be for a service, product, or to the consultation page.
Once you write your blog, its time to publish it for the world to see. A blog is easy to set up with popular blogging tools like WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger, and Medium. So, once you create your page, what do you do next?
When you write your blogs you shouldn’t publish numerous articles at once. You should try your best to be consistent and create posts scheduled at equal time apart. For you, maybe it’s once a week, every two weeks, or even once a month. Pick something that you know is realistic and stay consistent to that schedule. If you have numerous blog ideas, make sure to save them so that you can release them over time.
Lastly, share your new article on social media so that everyone can read your blog! This can increase views to both your social media page as well as your website!
So, what are you waiting for? Show your expertise and get blogging!
